Dutiful

When did I last…?

Dutiful is the simplest way to track the things you do every so often — the dentist, the car wash, the water filter, the guitar strings — so you never wonder "when did I last do this?" again. Log it once, set how often, tap "Did it!" when you do it. Dutiful keeps the clock and reminds you, gently and on time, when it's due again.

What it does

A preset library for real life

120+ ready-made tasks across Health, Home, Car, Personal, Pets, Hobbies, Tech, and Life admin — each with a sensible default interval and emoji. Searchable. Or just add your own in seconds.

One-tap "Did it!"

Tap, swipe, long-press, or hit the button on the item screen. Logging is meant to take seconds, because the moment you remember to log is the moment you might forget again.

Urgency-sorted home

Items sort by what needs attention first — overdue, due soon, then upcoming — color-coded calm-to-coral. Never alarming, never scolding. Just a clear picture of what is up.

Reliable reminders

Local notifications scheduled from your interval, with an early "due soon" nudge and a due-day reminder. Quick actions to log "Did it!" or snooze right from the notification.

Widgets that actually do something

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show what is due next. The interactive "Did it!" button logs a task as done without ever opening the app.

Private, offline, no account

No sign-up, no email, no server. Your items, history, and reminders live only on your device — Dutiful never sees them.

Who it's for

Built for people who keep wondering "wait, when did I last do this?"

Dutiful is for anyone with a mental list of "every so often" tasks — replacing the water filter, the dentist, the car wash, the smoke alarm batteries — that are too infrequent for a habit tracker and too irregular for a calendar. No account, no sign-up, no data leaves your device.
