Shelfworthy
Privacy Policy
Last updated
Welcome to Shelfworthy, an app for iPhone that shows your brick sets and minifigures on shelves and keeps track of what you own, what you paid and what you want. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and we are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how we use and store it, and your rights concerning this information.
By using Shelfworthy (the "App"), you accept and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
The App has no account or sign-in, it contains no advertising or analytics software, and it never collects your name, email address, contacts or location. We collect only the following:
a. Subscription Information: Shelfworthy Pro is sold by Apple and managed with RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives a random identifier created for your installation of the App (not your name or Apple Account), your purchases and their App Store transaction details, the plan, its price and currency, your device's model, operating system version, region and language, and where in the App you subscribed. If you came to the App from an Apple Search Ads advertisement, it also receives the attribution token Apple's AdServices framework provides, which identifies the campaign, not you. We do not request or use your device's advertising identifier.
b. Technical Information: When the App downloads the set catalogue, set pictures and exchange rates, the servers it connects to (our content delivery network, and the public catalogues and services listed below) receive your IP address and basic request information, as any website does.
Your collection — the sets and minifigures you add, what you paid, your notes, your photos and your Wishlist — is stored on your device. If you have Shelfworthy Pro with iCloud sync, it is also stored in your own private iCloud database, which only you can access; we cannot see it. Scanning a minifigure box uses the camera on your device only; no image is recorded or sent. Retirement alerts are scheduled on your device.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information for the following purposes:
a. To provide Shelfworthy Pro, confirm your subscription with Apple, and handle renewals, cancellations and refunds.
b. To understand which features lead people to subscribe and which advertisements bring people to the App, in aggregate.
c. To deliver the set catalogue and pictures to the App.
d. To ensure the security and integrity of the App.
The App does not show ads, and we do not use your information to track you across other apps or websites.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties, and we do not share it with advertisers. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
a. With service providers who process it on our behalf, or whose services the App uses:
- Apple, for purchases, subscriptions, iCloud and Search Ads attribution (apple.com/legal/privacy)
- RevenueCat, which manages Shelfworthy Pro subscriptions (revenuecat.com/privacy)
- Cloudflare, which hosts our set catalogue (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy)
- Rebrickable, Brickset and BrickLink, from which the App fetches set pictures and minifigure leaflets
- Frankfurter, for European Central Bank exchange rates
b. In response to legal requests, such as a court order, subpoena, or a law enforcement agency's request, if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
c. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Data Retention
We retain subscription information for as long as necessary to provide Shelfworthy Pro, or as required by applicable laws and regulations. We take appropriate measures to ensure that it is securely stored and protected against unauthorized access or disclosure.
Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights concerning the information we collect:
a. Access: You may ask what information we hold about your subscription.
b. Deletion: You may request that we delete that information, subject to certain exceptions as required by law.
c. Object or Restrict Processing: You may object to or request restrictions on the processing of your information under certain circumstances.
You can delete your collection at any time by deleting the App; with iCloud sync, you can also remove its data in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided in the "Contact Us" section below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or as required by law. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on this page, and we encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about our privacy practices.
